Singer and multi-instrumentalist Jackie Greene sent out his holiday wishes today with a very nice gift for fans. The Grateful EP is a 3 song release made available on his web site featuring some nice Grateful Dead covers including “Sugaree” (listen below), “New Speedway Boogie” and “Brokedown Palace”.
Covering GD songs is nothing new for Jackie who did a stint with Phil Lesh in his Phil & Friends band a few years back.
We’ve had the chance to see Jackie a few times live and I highly recommend you do the same if you get the chance.
Not sure how long this will be available so you might want to head on over and grab ‘em while you can.
